Supported devices: All devices that have an I2C interface can be used with either the SMX3199 or SMX3200 programmer. Specific devices need to be programmed with the SMX3199. Non- I2C devices are supported through the USB interface and parallel port. Devices without an I2C or Microwire interface have to use the IC ZIF socket and specific package adapter. A current part list is below: SMH4047 - Microwire using the Parallel Port SMM105 - I2C using the USB or Parallel Port SMR100 / SMR101 - Custom using the Socket only
Operating Instructions USB
Parallel Port (I2C and µWire)
Test Equipment Required Personal Computer with Windows 98 (or later O / S) and a parallel port. Software Setup 1. Close all open Windows application programs. 2. Insert the "Evaluation Board Software" CD into the CD-ROM drive. 3. Follow the installation instructions, rebooting the computer if prompted.
