INTRODUCTION Allegro® A1210, A1211, A1212, A1213, A1214 Hall-effect latches next generation drop- replacements popular Allegro A3175, A3177, A3185, A3187, A3188 line sensors. A121x family, produced with BiCMOS technology, comprises continuous time devices that feature fast power-on time low-noise operation. SUPPLY CURRENT, Allegro BiCMOS process designed more stable device operation over temperature voltage ranges. This process allows A121x maximum allowable supply current lower than that either A317x A318x (see table right). sample data (below) show that A1211 ICC(OFF) distributions have smaller width centered much lower than those A317x devices, over full operating temperature range. A1214 sample data shows tight distribution across temperature range. A3187 ICC(OFF) sample data shows wider variation than A121x.

SATURATION VOLTAGE, OUT(SAT) tradeoff using Allegro BiCMOS process slightly higher average output saturation voltage, VOUT(SAT), which indicated table right. Even then, VOUT(SAT) distributions A121x, well below maximum specification limit, over full operating temperature range, with SINK current Sinking less than through output further reduces VOUT(SAT) values.
