Introduction
MIC2196 high efficiency boost control housed SO-8 package. MIC2196 optimized input voltage applications. With wide input voltage range 2.9V 14V, MIC2196 used boost, SEPIC (single ended primary inductive coupled), CUK, flyback topologies efficiently generate positive negative voltages. This evaluation board addresses SEPIC topology where input voltage less than greater than output voltage (5V). MIC2196 ideal space sensitive applications. device housed space saving SO-8 package, whose pin-count minimizes external components. fixed 400kHz operation allows small inductor small output capacitors ideal noise-sensitive telecommunication applications.
