Current-limiting rated fuses equipped with mechanical indicator striker that protrudes through fuse upon operation fuse. This provides visual identification blown fuse used trigger external devices.

General Information

Rated Medium Voltage Fuses
Current-Limiting
Rated fuses have time current characteristics designed provide current-limiting protection power transformers, potential transformers, power centers, feeder centers, unit stations. When properly applied, they protect against high fault currents. NEMA Standards rated medium voltage fuses require that fuses rated 100E less open within seconds minutes) when subjected value 200-240% fuse continuous current rating; fuses with rating larger than 100E must open within seconds minutes) when subjected current 220240% fuse's continuous current rating.
