General Description
TS2596 Series step-down switching regulators with required active functions. capable driving load with excellent line load regulations. These devices available fixed output voltages 3.3V, adjustable output version. TS2596 series operates switching frequency 150kHz thus allowing smaller sized filter components than what would needed with lower frequency switching regulators. substantially only reduces area board size also size heat sink, some cases heat sink required. tolerance output voltage within specified input voltages output load conditions guaranteed. Also, oscillator frequency accuracy within ±10%. External shutdown included. Featuring 70µA (typical) standby current. output switch includes cycle-by-cycle current limiting, well thermal shutdown full protection under fault conditions. This series offered 5-pin TO-263, TO-220 package.
