5B32 GENERAL DESCRIPTION
5B32 single-channel signal conditioning module that amplifies, protects, filters isolates analog input. module measures process current input signal 4-20 0-20 reading voltage across external precision resistor (supplied) generating output Extra current conversion resistor available accessories (See Model AC1362 Accessories section). Note that 5B32 module circuitry withstand input screw-terminals, thereby shielding computer-side circuitry from field-side overvoltage conditions. addition, 5B32 Series modules mix-and-match swappable, inserted removed from socket same backplane without powering down system. chopper-stabilized input amplifier provides drift stable gain. amplifier input, stable, laser-trimmed zeroscale input offset subtracted from input signal zero-scale value 4-20 range. user convenience, zero optionally factory-set meet custom needs, This allows suppression zero-scale input value many times larger than total span precise expanded-scale measurements.
