This supports VoIP protocol stacks, jitter buffer management, application program. Programming done Broadcom's object-oriented signal processing API. 108-MHz with 48-KB instruction 32-KB data RAM. supports wide range vocoders, acoustic echo cancellation full-duplex speakerphone, modems, variety telephony algorithms (e.g., DTMF Call Progress Tones). Analog codecs. Three ADCs DACs integrated, eliminating need analog switch allow sharing codec between multiple interfaces.

They support auto-MDI/MDIX detection allow cable type either port. transceivers also integrate support in-line powering over Ethernet. BCM1113 integrates silicon components Ethernet Phone into single device software compatible with BCM1101. BCM1113 suited SOHO Voice-over phone products that require mid-range application feature sets (e.g., basic user applications operating 2-line character displays) while still requiring same voice quality reliability higher phone products.
