Input modules available accept millivolt, volt, process current, thermocouple, RTD, strain gage, frequency LVDT inputs. voltage output each module available from system connector while current output available output screw terminals.

Series Signal Conditioning Subsystems provide low-cost, versatile method transferring analog transducer signals data acquisition, monitoring control system without inherent noise, non-linearity, drift extraneous voltages. modules designed directly accept analog signals from Thermocouples, RTD's, Strain Gages, Torque Transducers, Frequency Transducers, LVDTs, millivolt process current signals. modules amplify, isolate, linearize convert transducer output signals standardized analog inputs high-level analog subsystems. Series Subsystem consists relay rack with universal mounting backplane family plug-in rack) input output signal conditioning modules. Eight four channel backplanes also available. 3B30 3B31 GENERAL DESCRIPTION
3B30 3B31 narrow-bandwidth (3Hz) single-channel signal conditioning modules which amplify, isolate, filter protect analog input voltages provide simultaneous precision voltage current outputs. Each module performs complete signal conditioning, including isolating (+1500V peak input-to-output power) protecting their computer side outputs from damage loss signal integrity, shielding their inputs from damage from field-side over-voltage faults 220V rms. current output withstands 130V without damage interfaces user equipment through screw terminals located Series backplane. Each plug-in, mix-andmatch, hot-swappable module easily field calibrated frontpanel zero span adjustments both voltage current outputs. Series Custom-Ranging Program Externallyprogrammable Models 3B30-00 3B31-00, enable user configure special input range using optional plug-on AC1310 ranging card, which houses user-supplied resistors determine zero span. facilitate selecting resistors, Windows program, 3B-CUSTOM, calculates resistor values based user-desired input/output ranges. chopper-stabilized low-drift (+1uV/oC) input amplifier assures stable long-term stability. amplifier input, stable, zero-scale input voltage subtracted from input signal zero-scale value. Zero suppression exceed 100% input range. This ideal expanded-scale applications requiring high-resolution measurement selected portion input signal. users convenience, zero span factory configured meet custom range needs (Models 3B30CUSTOM 3B31-CUSTOM) externally programmed (Models 3B30-00 3B31-00) user supplied resistors inserted optional AC1310 plug-on ranging card.
