Single 250kbaud RS232/RS485 Multiprotocol Transceiver Software Configurable
LTC1334 power CMOS bidirectional transceiver featuring reconfigurable interface ports. configured RS485 differential ports, dual RS232 single-ended ports RS485 differential port dual RS232 single-ended port. onboard charge pump requires four 0.1µF capacitors generate boosted positive negative supplies, allowing RS232 drivers meet RS232 output swing requirement with only single supply. Supply current typically shutdown mode reduces supply current 10µA. Figure shows typical multimode RS232/RS485 port-toport connection using LTC1334. RS232 transceivers typically operate 250kBd full compliance with RS232 specifications. interface
