GENERAL DESCRIPTION
O2Micro's OZ992 Smart ACPI/SCI (System Control Interrupt) General Purpose Input/Output unit allows OEMs transform their legacy systems ACPI compliant systems supporting extra inputs. Regular core logic chipsets, such Intel 430TX/BX ACPI compliant embedded controllers have limited allowance GPIO input signals system. OZ992 provides bridge between chipsets rest system allow system designers cost-effective improvise such deficiency. OZ992 provides GPIO signals regular slave mode. addition, OZ992 allows System Control Interrupt (SCI) input transitions written system's embedded controller master mode.
