GENERAL DESCRIPTION
OZ968 unique single-stage, highefficiency, CCFL backlight controller. drives zero-voltage-switching circuit provides near sinusoidal output voltage current waveforms CCFL backlight. Typical operating frequency ranges from 30KHz 100KHz. These advances drive OZ968 beyond comparable conventional inverter designs with power conversion stages (one operates variable frequency, other constant frequency). Operating push-pull drive, transformer OZ968 backlight inverter requires only primary winding secondary winding. secondary winding requires foldback treatment. OZ968 supports bi-directional, two-wire bus, data transmission protocol control dimming levels) contrast (256 levels). Supply current active mode, 150µA standby mode. OZ968 available 16-pin package. specified over commercial temperature range +70oC.
