AT76C507 single-chip baseband controller that handle IEEE 802.11b standard compliant data rates Mbps provides processing functionality needed protocol IEEE 802.11b. AT76C507 incorporates Open Host Controller (OHC), which capable processing data type lists. four states, which define responsibilities relating signaling states. also responsible managing aspects framing USB. These responsibilities include sending Tokens communicating with Host Controller Driver frame-specific information. Because does provide mechanism attached devices arbitrate granting bus, arbitration predictive with Host Controller. necessity supports number different communication models between software endpoints (Bulk, Control, Interrupt Isochronous). usage varies type service. approach used Host Controller have levels arbitration select among endpoints. first level arbitration list level. Each endpoint type needing service list corresponding type Host Controller selects which list service. Within list, endpoints given equal priority insuring that endpoints certain type have more less equal service opportunities. AT76C507 provides Full-Speed Mbits) ports.
