R1140Q Series voltage regulator with high output voltage accuracy, supply current, ONresistance, high ripple rejection CMOS process. Each these voltage regulator consists voltage reference unit, error amplifier, resistors setting Output Voltage, current limit circuit, chip enable circuit. TECHNICAL NOTES
When using these ICs, consider following points: Phase Compensation these ICs, phase compensation made securing stable operation even load current varied. this purpose, sure 2.2µF more capacitor COUT with good frequency characteristics (Equivalent Series Resistance). (Note: When additional ceramic capacitors connected Output with Output capacitor phase compensation, operation might unstable. Because this, test these with same external components ones used PCB.) Layout Make line sufficient. When impedance these high, would cause picking noise unstable operation. Connect capacitor with much 1.0µF capacitor between close possible. external components, especially output capacitor close possible make wiring shortest.
