This series converters does require external components proper operation. However, distribution input voltage converter contains significant inductance, capacitor across input terminals required stabilize input voltage. minimum 1µF, quality electrolytic ceramic capacitor recommended this purpose. output decoupling recommend connecting ceramic capacitor directly across output pins converter.
