GENERAL DESCRIPTION
TC1306 combines CMOS Dropout Regulators Microprocessor Monitor space-saving 8Pin MSOP package. Designed specifically batteryoperated systems, device's CMOS construction eliminates wasted ground current, significantly extending battery life. Total supply current this device typically 120µA full load times lower than bipolar regulators!). TC1306 features selectable output voltages higher design flexibility. dual-state SELECT allows user select VOUT2 from different values (2.8V 3.0V). VOUT1 supplies fixed 1.8V voltage. active RESET asserted when output voltage VOUT2 falls below 2.63V reset voltage threshold. RESET output remains 300msec (typical) after VOUT2 rises above reset threshold. When shutdown control (SHDN1) low, regulator output voltage VOUT1 falls zero RESET output remains valid. When shutdown control (SHDN2) low, regulator output voltage VOUT2 falls zero RESET output low. Other features device include ultra low-noise operation, fast response step changes load, very dropout voltage, typically 240mV full load. device also incorporates both over-temperature over-current protection. Each regulator stable with output capacitor only maximum output current 150mA.

Thermal Considerations
Thermal Shutdown Integrated thermal protection circuitry shuts regulator when temperature exceeds 160°C. regulator remains until temperature drops approximately 150°C.
