This errata sheet provides ordering code information APEX20KE devices. Altera developing faster process APEX 20KE devices that will meet timing specification production speed-grade devices. interim, Altera offering engineering sample (ES) devices speed-grade APEX 20KE devices. These devices have slower timing characteristics when operating under worst-case conditions 1.71 than what reflected Quartus software speed-grade devices. However, these devices should meet timing specifications shown Quartus software under typical operating conditions. APEX 20KE devices speed grades have "-1" speed-grade identifier ordering code. Instead, "ES" "XES" appended ordering code. example, EP20K100ETC144-1 EP20K100ETC144-1X device ordering codes EP20K100ETC144ES EP20K100ETC144XES, respectively. Additionally, APEX 20KE devices speed grades marked ways. Most these devices marked with complete ordering code (i.e., including "-1") with "ES" appended end. example, EP20K100ETC144-1 EP20K100ETC144-1X devices have EP20K100ETC144-1ES EP20K100ETC144-1XES markings, respectively. However, small number devices marked with exact ordering code (i.e., without "-1"). Table lists ordering codes markings speed-grade APEX 20KE devices.
