FUNCTIONS
(Pins Analog Multiplexer Inputs. (Pin Digital Ground. Connect system ground. (Pin 10): System Clock (TTL/CMOS Compatible). clock synchronizes channel selection bits serial data transfer from DOUT. (Pin 11): Channel Select Input (TTL/CMOS Compatible). logic high this input enables LTC1391 read channel selection bits allows digital data transfer from DOUT. logic this input puts DOUT into three-state enables selected channel analog signal transmission. (Pin 12): Digital Input (TTL/CMOS Compatible). Input channel selection bits. DOUT (Pin 13): Digital Output (TTL/CMOS Compatible). Output from internal shift register. (Pin 14): Negative Supply. (Pin 15): Analog Multiplexer Output. (Pin 16): Positive Supply.

APPLICATIONS INFORMATION
Multiplexer Operation Figure shows block diagram components within LTC1391 required operation. LTC1391 uses select active channel chip select input, switch selected channel shown Figure When high, input data latched into 4-bit shift register rising clock edge. input data consists "EN" string three bits channel selection. "EN" logic high illustrated first input data sequence, enables selected channel. After clocking last channel selection must pulled before next rising clock edge ensure correct operation. Once pulled low, previously selected channel switched ensure break-before-make interval. After delay tON, selected channel switched allowing signal transmission. selected channel remains until next falling edge After delay tOFF, LTC1391 terminates analog signal transmission allows
