Operates from Single 3.3V Supply Supply Current: 200µA 35µA Driver Disable Mode 0.2µA Shutdown Mode Protection Over ±10kV Uses Small Capacitors: 0.1µF Operates 120kBaud Output Overvoltage Does Force Current Back into Supplies EIA/TIA-562 Lines Forced ±25V Without Damage Compatible with LT1180A
LTC1385 ultra-low power, 2-driver/2-receiver TIA-562 transceiver which operates from single 3.3V supply. charge pump requires only four spacesaving 0.1µF capacitors. transceiver operates three modes: Normal, Driver Disable Shutdown. Normal mode, only 200µA unloaded condition. Driver Disable mode, charge pump turned off, driver outputs forced into three-state, both receivers kept active, drops 35µA. Shutdown mode, everything turned drops 0.2µA. LTC1385 fully compliant with data rate overvoltage TIA-562 specifications. transceiver operate 120kbaud with 1000pF, load. Both driver outputs receiver inputs forced ±25V without damage, survive multiple ±10kV strikes.

OUT: Driver Outputs EIA/TIA-562 Voltage Levels. Outputs high impedance state when Shutdown Driver Disable mode driver outputs protected against ±10kV human body model discharges. Receiver Inputs. These pins forced ±25V without damage. receiver inputs protected against ±10kV human body model discharges. Each receiver provides 0.4V hysteresis noise immunity. OUT: Receiver Outputs with TTL/CMOS Voltage Levels. Outputs high impedance state when Shutdown mode.
