DESCRIPTIO
Supply Current: 300µA Receivers Kept Alive SHUTDOWN Protection Over ±10kV Operates from Single Supply Uses Small Capacitors: 0.1µF Operates 120k Baud Three-State Outputs High Impedance When Output Overvoltage Does Force Current Back into Supplies RS232 Lines Forced ±25V Without Damage Compatible with LT1137A LT1237 Flowthrough Architecture
LTC1349 3-driver/5-receiver RS232 transceiver with very supply current. load condition, supply current only 300µA. charge pump only requires four 0.1µF capacitors. SHUTDOWN mode, receivers kept alive supply current 35µA. RS232 outputs assume high impedance state SHUTDOWN with power off. LTC1349 fully compliant with data rate overvoltage RS232 specifications. transceiver operate 120k baud with 2500pF, load. Both driver outputs receiver inputs forced ±25V without damage, survive multiple ±10kV strikes.
