Dedicated Input Selection
FLEX 10KE development board provides dedicated input selection circuitry, performs following functions:
Sets split-pin configuration high fan-out signals (trdyn, irdyn, stopn). Drives available dedicated inputs with external signals. Provides pull-up resistors dedicated inputs.
Dedicated input configuration selected installing removing various resistors. Figure shows schematic board's dedicated input selectors.

These resistors select system clock (PCI_CLK) clocking source FLEX 10KE device, SDRAM socket, prototype area, connector.
Voltage Supply Circuit
FLEX 10KE development board special voltage regulator circuitry, which allows necessary 2.5-V 3.3-V power supply generated from 5.0-V input. board accept 5.0-V input from either connector external power supply (via JP2). Using external power supply input while board plugged into connector slot result severe board damage possibly system damage.
