DESCRIPTION
DEM-ADS7810/19C Evaluation Fixture fully assembled printed circuit board used evaluate ADS7810P ADS7819P. This device incorporates analog input amplifier (with provisions bypass this amplifier), parallel digital output buffer, crystal oscillator-based 800kHz convert command generator, external connectors, 2.3" 1.2" breadboard area. DEM-ADS7810/19C achieves full converter performance two-layer board. This fixture requires only power supplies. optional bipolar power supply connector provided input amplifier breadboarding.

Step Offset/Gain Adjust Offset Adjust adjust offset, install (5k) (4.99k), ground input, then adjust RV2. Figure location Gain Adjust adjust gain, install (5k) (221k), then adjust RV1. this +full scale -full scale. Figure NOTE: offset directly affects gain. Always trim offset first. maximum precision, more than iteration these adjustments required. Factory Setting: ±10V input range without offset/gain trim, soldered board.

"EXT" selects external convert command generator. Apply negative-going pulse, 100ns duration, (External Convert Command). This connector terminated board with resistor (R8). Adjust voltage generator swing pulse rate desired frequency (800kHz). NOTE: When using external convert command, trace powering on-board convert command generator eliminate noise contributions oscillator. reconnect, install jumper "EXT" allows user control "read" "convert" commands (CS) (R/C).
