GENERAL DESCRIPTION
ADM2xx family line drivers/receivers intended EIA-232-E V.28 communications interfaces, especially applications where available. ADM205, ADM206, ADM211 ADM213 feature power shutdown mode which reduces power dissipation less than making them ideally suited battery powered equipment. ADM205 does require external components particularly useful applications where printed circuit board space critical. ADM213 active-low shutdown
active-high receiver enable control. receivers ADM213 remain active during shutdown. This feature useful ring indicator monitoring. members ADM2xx family, except ADM209, include internal charge pump voltage converters which allow operation from single supply. These converters convert input power required RS-232 output levels. ADM209 designed operate from supplies. internal charge pump voltage converter generates supply.
