This series fixed-voltage integrated-circuit voltage regulators designed wide range applications. These applications include on-card regulation elimination noise distribution problems associated with single-point regulation. addition, they used with power-pass elements make high-current voltage regulators. these regulators deliver output current. internal limiting thermal-shutdown features these regulators make them essentially immune overload. When used replacement zener diode-resistor combination, effective improvement output impedance obtained, together with lower bias current.
