M5282LITE provided operating Motorola dBUG monitor MCF5282. monitor/debugger dBUG, offers intuitive command line interface that used download execute code. contains primary features needed create useful debugging environment. dBUG firmware stored lower 256K bytes external Flash Memory device. user interface dBUG M5282LITE COM1 serial port. monitor provides communication with serial terminal host commands. Ethernet TFTP downloads also supported monitor. MCF5282 applications loaded execution supervised using dBUG monitor. Tested software then located programmed into MCF5282 internal flash memory dedicated user application operation board. single option jumper (EX_BOOT) allows control returned monitor needed. User also external flash memory their application should reserve lower 256K bytes flash memory maintain dBUG monitor.
