GENERAL DESCRIPTION
AM427 cost ratiometric voltage transmitter, designed flexible bridge signal conditioning. contains ratiometric current source transducer excitation, high accuracy instrumentation amplifier differential input signals, voltage output driver. Gain, offset, output voltage range adjustable external resistors. voltage output stage used push/pull mode. addition main blocks, there several protection functions: current limitation output driver gives short circuit protection. Also protection against reverse polarity, overvoltage switch-off provided. With functional protection blocks AM427 ideally suited automotive sensor interface applications.

AM427 integrated ratiometrical voltage interface specially designed bridge input signals automotive applications. With integrated, ratiometrical current source AM427 ideally suited signal conditioning piezoresistive pressure transducers allows easy temperature compensation span adjustment these kinds sensors. addition main functional blocks provides several protection functions. integrated protection blocks are: Overvoltage Switch Off, Protection against Reverse Polarity, Short Circuit Protection (VOUT against Ground) output stage. AM427 consists basic functional blocks: Ratiometrical Current Source transducer excitation: current adjusted variation resistor following relation: VVIB
Instrumentation Amplifier Input Stage with fixed gain pre-amplifiing bridge input signal. Open Collector Output Stage with following functions: Voltage Output: output used voltage amplifier which external PNP-open collector stage which able push maximum current IOUT 11mA. gain GOUT adjustable external resistors between GOUT 2.11: GOUT
gain complete system becomes then GOUT. Current Limitation: comparator stage with fixed threshold voltage VCC-150mV provides adjustable current limitation. maximum current value 150mV
