GENERAL DESCRIPTION
AM417 cost ratiometrical voltage transmitter, designed flexible bridge input signal conditioning. contains ratiometric current source transducer excitation, high accuracy instrumentation amplifier differential input signals, voltage output driver. Gain, offset, output voltage range adjustable external resistors. voltage output stage designed open collector stage. output current +10mA. simple current limitation possible adding external resistor. With functional blocks possibilities adjust important parameters sensor calibration, small package dimensions (SO8), costs AM417 ideally suited automotive sensor interface applications.

AM417
AM417 integrated cost ratiometric voltage transmitter specially designed bridge input signals automotive applications. With integrated, ratiometrical current source AM417 ideally suited signal conditioning piezoresistive pressure transducers allows easy temperature compensation span adjustment these kinds sensors. AM417 consists basic functional blocks: Ratiometrical Current Source transducer excitation: current adjusted variation resistor following relation: VVCC
Instrumentation Amplifier Input Stage with fixed gain pre-amplifiing bridge input signal. Open Collector Output Stage with following functions: Voltage Output: output used voltage amplifier which external PNP-open collector stage which able push maximum current IOUT 5mA. gain GOUT adjustable external resistors between GOUT 2.11: GOUT
gain complete system becomes then GOUT. Current Limitation: simple clamp stage output VOUT limits voltage drop against VOUT VVCC maximum current adding resistor series Emitter transistor output stage (see figure maximum output current valid: VTRESH 370mV
