Quick Start
following equipment needed: 2.5V power supply (VIN), battery, notebook adapter DC-bias power supply (V+), 5.5V 100mA Dummy load capable sourcing/sinking Digital multimeter (DMM) 100MHz dual-trace oscilloscope MAX1917 fully assembled tested surface-mount board. Follow steps below verify board operation. turn power supply until connections completed: Ensure that circuit connected correctly supplies dummy load prior applying power. Verify that shunts across pins JU2, JU3, JU4. Apply external reference pad. Turn power supplies observe output with and/or oscilloscope. Look switching node MOSFET gate-drive signals while varying load current.

MAX1917 provides complete power-management solution memory. synchronous, buck-switching, DC-DC converter that generates half voltage input VTTR. synchronous rectification mode ensures balanced sourcing sinking current capability operates 550kHz switching frequency superior line- load-transient response.
