MAX1678 shipped fully assembled tested. Follow these steps verify board operation. turn power supply until connections completed. Verify that shunts positioned jumpers listed Table 3.3V output. Connect +0.87V +3.3V supply voltage pad. Connect ground pad. Note: once started, input voltage drop 0.7V output current less than 10mA. Connect voltmeter load any) VOUT pad.

jumpers board allow selection several configurations. Table lists jumper functions. Table lists jumper positions when setting board 3.3V operation.
Component Selection
final circuit performance determined quality components surrounding MAX1678. input output capacitors must have equivalent-seriesresistance (ESR) handle high peak currents found switching regulators. especially critical low-voltage circuits reduce output ripple. Ceramic capacitors supplied MAX1678 because their small size value range needed circuit.
