Connections Setup
Verify power supply less than +5.5V before attaching supply kit. good starting voltage +3.0V. Verify SHDN jumper "VCC" position. Connect signal generator IFIN connector using cable. with precision connector, careful while threading connector. optimal performance, consult connector manufacturer's specifications torque recommendation. generator's output 70MHz -30dBm power level. Connect second signal generator input connector using cable. generator's output 970MHz -5dBm power level (use -10dBm MAX2671 Kit). Connect output spectrum analyzer using cable. Take care quality connector adapters spectrum analyzer's input. Avoid using BNC-type connectors their high VSWR while operating gigahertz range. assist troubleshooting, verify correct voltages board with multimeter.
