Quick Start
MAX1729 fully assembled tested surface-mount board. Follow steps below verify board operation. turn power supply until connections completed. Connect 2.7V 5.5V supply pads marked GND. Connect voltmeter load, any, VOUT pad. Place shunt across pins Turn power verify that output voltage approximately 16.35V.

Detailed Description
Jumper Selection
Jumper JU1, position, connects CTLIN VIN. This places output voltage maximum equivalent applying signal with 100% duty cycle. position, CTLIN connected GND. This places MAX1729 into shutdown mode equivalent applying signal with duty cycle. When applying signal CTLIN pad, shunt must removed from jumper JU1.

This used compensate color contrast variations caused changes temperature. internal feedback mode, this output read external used adjust duty cycle control signal. external feedback mode, this output summed directly into feedback-resistor network. Refer MAX1729 data sheet determine feedback-resistor values.
