MAX4410 evaluation kit) fully assembled tested surface-mount circuit board that evaluates MAX4410 DirectDrive stereo headphone amplifier. Procedure
MAX4410 fully assembled tested. Follow steps below verify board operation. turn power supply until connections completed: Plug headphones into 3.5mm headphone jack. Ensure that stereo audio source turned off. Connect disabled stereo audio source through phono jacks. Ensure that shunts installed position 1-2. Connect 1.8V 3.6V power supply pads. Turn power supply. Enable stereo audio source.

Layout Considerations
optimize audio performance MAX4410, important follow these layout guidelines. MAX4410 uses ground planes minimize switching noise from charge pump coupling into audio signal. planes star-connected point (GND pad). Capacitors should placed close connected with wide traces. Short, wide traces should used connect power pins power supply.
Detailed Description
MAX4410 stereo, single-supply headphone amplifier. MAX4410 designed driven stereo lineout player directly connected stereo audio source. input impedance 10k. -3dB corner frequencies approximately 16Hz 159kHz dependent components R1-R4 C1-C4. MAX4410 gain powered with 1.8V 3.6V supply.
Shutdown Control
MAX4410 provides shutdown pins (SHDNL, SHDNR) disable outputs. Jumpers control left right channels, respectively (see Table shutdown shunt positions). Shorting allows user control both channels' shutdown pins simultaneously driving provided user SHDN with external source (see Figure shunt configuration). SHDNL SHDNR CMOS logic-level inputs.
