2101 EZ-ICE RS-232 Addendum 2100 Family EZ-Tools Manual
following paragraph page (Section 2.2.1.2) phrased incorrectly ADSP-2100 Family EZTools Manual (31-000008-01): "Note: locate cable, RS232 cable that swaps connections between ends cable (and provides continuity ground connection) should work. Only ground actually used EZ-ICE board. Often, this type cable called `null modem cable'."
This paragraph should state following: "Note: locate cable, following pinout RS232 interface 21xx EZ_ICE board: connected connected ground connected EZ-ICE board device, your device, than standard RS-232 DB-9 Serial Cable used. However, connecting EZ-ICE board device then null modem cable must used. null modem cable simply allows same device types mate with another, switching signals inside cable. diagram both device types shown next page. Before going purchasing null modem cable, please make
sure that can't change device type RS-232 port either changing jumpers your motherboard, changing software parameters (such BIOS Windows system settings.)"
