This CHIP describes rework needed DK65550/554 board support panels. board this rework already been implemented form added wires extra three-pin jumper located "prototyping area" board. (The drawing below shows location additional wires jumper.)

Purpose
This rework extends board support panels well (VDDSAFE) panels adding jumper select either voltage.
Applicable Boards
This CHIP applies Rev. DK65550/554board (PCI version). Applicability version been verified.
Instructions (already implemented
Install 3-pin jumper prototyping area near Call jumper W99. Install jumper that pins line same orientation jumpers through W35, position jumper corner closest Lift (Siliconix Si9953DY dual MOSFET device). Solder wire from lifted added jumper W99. (Pin center pin.) solder side board, connect wire from (GVCC). solder side board, connect wire from controlled voltage regulator, R76).

MOSFET used switch control VDDSAFE voltage panel. original design ties source directly GVCC power plane. order support panels, insert jumper between GVCC MOSFET source pin, allowing used instead GVCC. necessary change voltage that drives gate MOSFET. pull-up resistor gate remain connected GVCC. MOSFET spec gate-source voltage should able tolerate applied gate while applied source pin. MOSFET "on" (conducting) when gate voltage "low" (near GND). GVCC panel Panel voltage from (see R76)
