GENERAL DESCRIPTION
ADG441, ADG442, ADG444 monolithic CMOS devices that comprise four independently selectable switches. They designed enhanced LC2MOS process that provides power dissipation gives high switching speed resistance. resistance profile very flat over full analog input range, which ensures good linearity distortion when switching audio signals. High switching speed also makes parts suitable video signal switching. CMOS construction ensures ultralow power dissipation, making parts ideally suited portable battery-powered instruments. ADG441, ADG442, ADG444 contain four independent SPST switches. Each switch ADG441 ADG444 turns when logic applied appropriate control input. ADG441/ADG442/ADG444 TRENCH ISOLATION
ADG441A, ADG442A, ADG444A, insulating oxide layer (trench) placed between NMOS PMOS transistors each CMOS switch. Parasitic junctions, which occur between transistors junction isolated switches, eliminated, result completely latch-up proof switch. junction isolation, wells PMOS NMOS transistors form diode that reverse-biased under normal operation. However, during overvoltage conditions, this diode becomes forward-biased. silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR) type circuit formed transistors causing significant amplification current which, turn, leads latch-up. With trench isolation, this diode removed, result latch-up proof switch.
