Using Micrel's proprietary Super PNPprocess with pass element, these regulators feature 300mV 370mV (full load) dropout voltages very ground current. Designed high current loads, these devices also find applications lower current, extremely dropout-critical systems, where their tiny dropout voltage ground current values important attributes. MIC29150/29300/29500/29750 fully protected against overcurrent faults, reversed input polarity, reversed lead insertion, overtemperature operation, positive negative transient voltage spikes. Five fixed voltage versions feature logic level ON/OFF control error flag which signals whenever output falls regulation. Flagged states include input voltage (dropout), output current limit, overtemperature shutdown, extremely high voltage spikes input. MIC29xx1 MIC29xx2, ENABLE tied required ON/OFF control.
