Description
AT76C517 provides complete modem functionality 802.11a/b/g wireless chip set. contains signal processing functionality both DSSS/CCK OFDM modulation/demodulation. supports both short long PLCP preamble formats 802.11b rates, while incorporates efficient compensation algorithms improving performance OFDM modem part. AT76C517 provides interface processor consisting bi-directional data bus, data synchronization signals serial-to-parallel port interface. AT76C517 exchange either payload data TX/RX vector payload data with over bi-directional data half-duplex fashion using data synchronization signals. interface allows baseband controllers operate different speeds incorporating FIFOs both directions. serial-to-parallel port interface provides access internal registers able MHz. AT76C517 able interface with various 802.11a/g radio devices using analog proprietary digital interface, analog digital signals automatic gain control, gain lock indication, antenna diversity control, "gain various other signals which depict state internal critical circuits related front-end logic modem.
