IDT7M9401 provides reliable, high performance 10/100 Ethernet connectivity Mezzanine Card (PMC)-based systems. IDT7M9401 designed mechanical electrical compliance with Common Mezzanine Card Specification (IEEE1386) Mezzanine Card Specification (IEEE1386.1). This low-profile card ideally suited serve Ethernet card mounted standard Compact Single Board Computer.
OVERVIEW:
central component IDT7M9401 Intel 82558 Fast Ethernet single chip controller. 82558 connects directly bus, expansion Flash memory device Ethernet LAN. 82558's master interface provides efficient, latency transfer capability over PCI. 82558 chip provides both Ethernet layers single device. This integration enhances reliability reduces power consumption requirements.
