REGISTER (Control Register) 30-sec (D3) (30-second adjustment bit) When written this bit, second digits smaller than second digits reset larger than second digits reset carry into minute digit executed. Data cannot written into registers written into REST register 125ms after writing into this because internal processing being executed. This holds 125ms after writing, returns automatically. Therefore, data should written into registers after checking that this returned "0". IRQ-F (D2) (Interrupt ReQuest Flag) This status corresponds output level STD.P output. When STD.P "L", then IRQ-F "1", when STD.P high impedance, then IRQ-F "0". IRQ-F indicates that interrupt occurred microcomputer IRQ-F "1". When register (MASK) "0", then STD.P output changes from high impedance IRQ-F changes from according timing (t1) (t0) register When register (INT/STND) (interrupt mode), STD.P output remains until IRQ-F written "0". When IRQ-F timing interrupt occurs, interrupt ignored. When (INT/STND) (Standard Pulse Output mode) STD.P output remains until either written IRQ-F IRQ-F automatically goes after 7.8125ms.

When BUSY (BUSY status) read, check BUSY follows Repeat BUSY checking routine writing then HOLD (HOLD HOLD BUSY check) write HOLD again micro seconds after writing HOLD bit. BUSY status lasts micro seconds second. Data cannot written BUSY bit. HOLD (D0) used reading writing registers (addresses When written this BUSY "0", clock second digit more stopped, enabling Read/ Write operations. When BUSY Read/Write completed, written HOLD bit. writing omitted, data corrupted. setting this "1", carry one-second digit prohibited inside However, carry second digit that generated during interval will corrected automatically second) once only when written this bit. However, next subsequent carry will ignored data will corrected. (Loss second) When "L", HOLD will become like that written HOLD bit.
