8-CHANNEL SOURCE DRIVERS
Recommended high-side switching applications that benefit from separate logic load grounds, these devices encompass load supply voltages output currents -500 These 8-channel source drivers useful interfacing between low-level logic high-current loads. Typical loads include relays, solenoids, lamps, stepper and/or servo motors, print hammers, LEDs. devices used with logic systems TTL, Schottky TTL, DTL, CMOS. UDN2981A, UDN2982A, A2982SLW electrically interchangeable, will withstand maximum output voltage operate minimum devices this series integrate input current limiting resistors output transient suppression diodes, activated active high input. suffix (all devices) indicates 18-lead plastic dual in-line package with copper lead frame optimum power dissipation. Under normal operating conditions, these devices will sustain continuously each eight outputs ambient temperature +50°C supply suffix `LW' (UDN2982LW only) indicates 18-lead surfacemountable wide-body SOIC package; A2982SLW provided 20-lead wide-body SOIC package with improved thermal characteristics. UDN2982A, UDN2982LW A2982SLW drivers also available operation over extended temperature range -40°C. order, change prefix `UDN' `UDQ' suffix `SLW' `ELW'.
