AP3008 1.2MHz boost switching regulator designed constant-current white driver applications. AP3008 drive string white LEDs from 2.7V supply series, ensuring uniform brightness eliminating several ballast resistors. AP3008 implements constant frequency 1.2MHz control scheme. high frequency operation also saves board space reducing external component sizes. improve efficiency, feedback voltage which reduces power dissipation current setting resistor. AP3008 equipped with protection ability, monitors output voltage will turn device overvoltage condition present prevent damage from open circuit condition.
