This built-in thermal shutdown circuit that mutes output current when chip temperature reachs 178oC (Typ). hysteresis 25oC (Typ), driver circuits start again when chip temperature falls 153oC (Typ). driver buffer switched when supply voltage falls below 3.5V (Typ), switched back when voltage reaches 3.7V (Typ) again. case standby voltage under 0.5V opened, quiescent current muted. Standby voltage should over 2.0V normal application. BIAS (pin should pulled more than 1.2V. case bias voltage pulled down under 0.9V (Typ), output current muted. Insert by-pass capacitor (approximately 0.1µF) between VCC-pin GND-pin near possible this Heat dissipation fins attached inside package. Make sure connect them external GND. Supplement: (Current-feedback driver) transmission gain (output current/input voltage) given gm=1/(RD RWIRE) (A/V) RWIRE total gold wire resistance inside package (0.15 0.05 (Typ).
