Semiconductor's wireless product portfolio includes AMIS-50050 spread spectrum baseband controller. Semiconductor's AMIS-5005x products simplify design direct sequence spread spectrum radios. They contain baseband circuitry needed implement radio, thus providing economical solution extensive digital hardware requirements high performance spread spectrum radios. AMIS-50050 power device optimal portable battery powered applications. utilizes 3.3V power supply interfaces microprocessor logic.

AMIS-50050 power device optimal portable battery powered applications. utilizes 3.3V power supply interfaces microprocessor logic. AMIS-50050 consists microprocessor interface full duplex transmit/receive message processor circuit. Included AMIS-50050 message transmit processor circuits data scrambler, packet generator, generator, pseudonoise (PN) code generator, modulation mode formatter. AMIS-50050 message processor receive circuits include receive code generator, receive synchronization tau-dither tracking loop, integrate dump control, data descrambler, packet decoder, checker, demodulator, signal strength indicator. Each transmit receive code generator consists 11-bit generators, allowing selection code, code, "Gold code" combination codes. Semiconductor's AMIS-50050 uses separate transmit receive 64MHz VCOs, which allow fully independent transmit receive operations. Semiconductor's wireless interface generic microprocessor programming data transfer modulator/demodulator radio transmission medium. 8530 operation HDLC protocol emulated message packetization error checking. packetization selected data transmitted received from host. AMIS-50050 high performance part, capable chipping rates 64Mchips/second transmit receive modes. This results maximum data rate 2Mbps using QPSK DQPSK modulation code length maximum data rate 1Mbps achieved using BPSK DBPSK modulation code length lower chipping rates capable generating code lengths 2047 chips. lowest possible chipping rate 300Hz. flexibility design allows optimal combination transmitted power, system process gain, system bandwidth rate order achieve reliable communication channel with minimum interference other adjacent channels co-channel users.
