With output impedance both HIGH logic states, output buffers MPC9109 ideal driving series terminated transmission lines. With output impedance 9109 capability driving series terminated lines from each output. This gives device effective fanout 1:36. lower output impedance desired please MPC942 data sheet. better performance desired please MPC940L data sheet. differential LVPECL inputs MPC9109 allow device interface directly with LVPECL fanout buffer like MC100EP111 build very wide clock fanout trees couple high frequency clock source. LVCMOS input provides more standard interface applications requiring only single clock distribution chip relatively frequencies. addition, clock sources used provide test clock interface well primary system clock. logic HIGH LVCMOS_CLK_Sel will select LVCMOS level clock input. inputs MPC9109 have internal pullup/pulldown resistor they left open unused. MPC9109 single dual supply device. device power supply offers high degree flexibility. device operate with core output, core outputs well core outputs. 32lead package chosen optimize performance, board space cost device. 32-lead TQFP 7x7mm body size with conservative spacing.
