6N138/9 HCPL2730/HCPL2731 optocouplers consist AlGaAs optically coupled high gain split darlington photodetector. split darlington configuration separating input photodiode first stage gain from output transistor permits lower output saturation voltage higher speed operation than possible with conventional darlington phototransistor optocoupler. dual channel devices, HCPL2730/HCPL2731, integrated emitter-base resistor provides superior stability over temperature. combination very input current 0.5mA high current transfer ratio 2000% makes this family particularly useful input interface MOS, CMOS, LSTTL RS232C, while output compatibility ensured CMOS well high fan-out requirements. internal noise shield provides exceptional common mode rejection kV/µs.
