GENERAL DESCRIPTION
AMS5105 series consists positive fixed adjustable voltage regulators ideally suited battery-powered systems. These devices feature very quiescent current (500uA less) when supplying loads 500mA, standby current less than 500nA when disabled using ENABLE (available selected packages). These unique characteristics input-output differential required proper regulation (0.5V output currents 500mA) make AMS5105 ideal standby power systems. Internal current limiting thermal shutdown features provide protection AMS5105 series devices regardless package type. AMS5105 offered fixed voltage regulators lead SOT-23, SOT-89, SOT-223, lead SOIC packages, adjustable voltage regulators lead SOT-23 lead SOIC packages. devices lead SOT-23 lead SOIC packages provided with ENABLE pin.

APPLICATION NOTES

Dropout Voltage: input-output voltage differential which
circuit stops regulate against further reduction input voltage.
