Description
S3485 SONET/SDH transceiver chip fully integrated serialization/deserialization SONET multi-rate interface device. S3485 receives scrambled Non-Return-to-Zero (NRZ) signal recovers clock from data. chip performs necessary serial-to-parallel parallel-to-serial functions conformance with SONET/ SDH/ Gigabit Ethernet/ Fibre Channel/ HDTV/ ESCON/ DTV/ transmission standards. device suitable SONETbased applications. diagram Figure shows typical network application. S3485 transceiver implements SONET/ SDH/ Gigabit Ethernet/ Fibre Channel/ HDTV/ ESCON/ DTV/ serialization/deserialization transmission functions.
