Description
AV1117 AV1117-2.5, -2.85, -3.3 dropout three-terminal regulators with output current capability. These devices have been optimized voltage where transient response minimum input voltage critical. 2.85V version designed specifically used Active Terminators SCSI bus. Current limit trimmed ensure specified output current controlled short-circuit current. On-chip thermal limiting provides protection against combination overload ambient temperatures that would create excessive junction temperatures. Unlike type regulators where output current wasted quiescent current, quiescent current AV1117 flows into load, increasing efficiency. AV1117 series regulators offered three-pin surface mount package SOT-223.
