General Description
APW7025 integrates controller Dual linear controller, well monitoring protection functions into single package which provides three controlled power outputs with over-voltage over-current protections. controller regulates reference voltage with synchronous-rectified buck converter. linear controller regulates power microprocessor core voltage Memory Voltage. precision reference voltage-mode control provide static regulation. linear controller drives external N-channel MOSFET provide adjustable voltage. APW7025 monitors output voltages single Power Good signal issued when Voltage within 1.25V setting other output levels above their under-voltage thresholds. Additional built-in over-voltage protection output uses lower MOSFET prevent output voltages above 115% 1.25V setting. over-current function monitors output current using voltage drop across upper MOSFET's RDS(ON) eliminating need current sensing resistor.
