General Description
APW7015 integrates controller Dual linear controller, well monitoring protection functions into single package, which provides three controlled power outputs with over-voltage over-current protections. controller regulates reference voltage with synchronous-rectified buck converter. linear controller regulates power microprocessor core voltage Memory Voltage. Compatible 3-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that adjusts output voltage from 1.3VDC 1.65VDC 0.05V steps included APW7015. precision reference voltage-mode control provide static regulation. linear controller drives external N-channel MOSFET provide adjustable voltage. APW7015 monitors output voltages, single Power Good signal issued when Voltage within setting other output levels above their under-voltage thresholds. Additional built-in over-voltage protection output uses lower MOSFET prevent output voltages above 115% setting. over-current function monitors output current using voltage drop across upper MOSFET's RDS(ON) ,eliminating need current sensing resistor.
