Description
PL7808XE3 series three-terminal positive regulators available TO-220AB package. These regulators provide TO-220AB local -card regulation, eliminating distribution problems associated with single point regulation. Each employs internal current limiting, thermal shutdown safe operating area protection, making essentially indestructible. adequate heat sinking provided, they deliver over output current. Although designed primarily fixed voltage regulators, these devices used with external components obtain adjustable voltages currents. PL7808XE3 characterized operation from +125°C, operating temperature always high, please refer power dissipation curve.
